Anyone who's read my blog for a while knows my love of Urban Decay Primer Potion under any and all eyeshadows. Without it, even the "creaseless" shadows end up settling into my crease. I recommend it to everyone.
I just got an email today from Sephora saying that UD has an updated potion out...the same formula with a champagne hue and sparkle!!!
This sounds like perfection. I have long loved the Laura Mercier eye tints, giving that perfect understated wash of color on the lids.
I can't wait to try it out! It's $17...a little pricey, but I think it's totally worth it because I wear it under everything. And it lasts years...

so exciting! i bought the potion because of you and i love it. can't wait to try this new guy out. would you wear it alone or what color would you wear over it? it'd be a shame to cover up the sparkle and champagne color.
i have a gift card for sephora from christmas and i've been waiting for the perfect new product to use the gift card...this just might be it.
I know, it would be kind of annoying to cover up the perfection. But the bottle is so big that I'm sure it will last a long time.
My one tip is that if you are going to use a darker matte eyeshadow, it is difficult to blend unless you first use a neutral matte directly over the primer potion. It definitely makes every eyeshadow more pigmented!
I might try this. I have been wanting to get some new staples and products. This may have to be one of them. And the new color sounds so pretty, especially for summer.
